Introduction
Welcome to this week’s Real Men Feel episode hosted by the insightful Andy Grant. Join us as we explore the profound insights of Lux Vivens, a full-time healer, artist, and ritual master at the Modern Mystery School. Lux is well-known for her work on reclaiming and understanding masculinity and femininity in today’s world. In this enlightening dialogue, we dive deeper into the social dynamics between men and women, the importance of emotional authenticity, and what it truly means to live in service and purpose.

Setting the Scene
Andy Grant opens the conversation with a reminder of the core values behind Real Men Feel: allowing men to express their full spectrum of emotions without societal restrictions. He shares personal anecdotes from his recent African adventures and emphasizes the importance of thrill-seeking as a facet of human experience. African Thrills Playlist & Devil’s Pool Short.

This Episode’s Guest: Lux Vivens
Among the conversation topics with Lux, her views on masculinity and femininity stand out. Lux passionately discusses how societal constructs have distorted the true nature of being a man or a woman. She argues that success should not be limited to material achievements or external validations. Instead, she emphasizes the power of authenticity, emotional intelligence, and keeping one’s word.

Understanding Gender Dynamics
Lux expresses concerns about the societal pressures on men to exhibit an illusion of success, driven often by performative acts rather than actual values. She talks about the toxic cycles men find themselves in when chasing after superficial validations, which leads to attracting partners who may not fulfill deeper needs of connection or purpose.

Rebirth of Authentic Masculinity
The discussion transitions into how men can reconnect with authentic masculinity. Lux advocates for internal work, spiritual awakening, and breaking free from societal molds. Men learning to express emotions constructively and work through internal blocks are empowered as a path to true fulfillment.

The Immutable Joy of Service
Both Andy and Lux touch on the transformative power of service to others. The feeling of fulfillment gained from serving others is likened to accessing a divine connection, where momentary acts of kindness ripple out into larger shifts in consciousness. They emphasize that profound joy can be realized in service, not just romantic or personal conquests.

Lux’s Original Facebook Post:

MEN: IMO It’s not how ripped you are or how much money you have or how many followers stumble behind you that makes you attractive…
Those things as sole offerings magnetize you to broken or incubating (young/damaged/traumatized) women, but you cannot then complain that your poison bait caught poison fish.
To a solid woman that’s all afterthought.
What makes you BURNING HOT to us is authenticity, emotional intelligence, keeping your word, publicly celebrating the women in your life, space holding ability, internal stability (not getting easily triggered or defensive) and learning how to engage with sexuality in a way that achieves mutual transcendence (because many of us were treated like human sex dolls the majority of our dating life and very definitely not like Goddesses and the literal portal between dimensions).
If you start to pay attention to the way these conscious men live their lives you will notice a few things.
1) They’re all successful in business or so fully living their purpose that it doesn’t matter
2) Most of them are very close with their exes and their exes are often besties with their new woman
3)They are clean and clear and responsible with communication and you know their word is bond (which is the deepest way to allow a woman to feel safe)
4) They are unapologetically broadcasting their masculinity in a world that has tried everything to make that socially illegal
5) They understand relationships are mirrors, opportunity for growth and a huge part of life-they’re not an afterthought or merely a source of distraction
There’s more and more in the public eye all the time and I am HERE FOR IT! Yassss, doing your part to heal and evolve humanity!

Reflecting on Personal Experiences
Lux draws on her work with high-achieving individuals, showing that true happiness eludes even those with wealth and status. The conversation asks us to reflect on our personal experiences, cocooned biases, and how healing from one’s internal traumas facilitates healthier and more fulfilling relationships.

Healing Through ‘Remothering’
An integral part of Lux’s work includes a process she refers to as ‘remothering’—a ritual that nurtures emotional healing by providing unconditional love. She describes this as a crucial step for many men who missed this type of nurturing, to recalibrate their emotional responses and relationships.

Cultural Expectations and Gender Relations
Throughout the discussion, Andy and Lux ponder why culture continues to misinterpret and undervalue the unique contributions of men. They put forth conceptions of healing divides, expressing gratitude, and cultivating harmonized relationships.

Conclusion
In closing, Andy suggests that the keys to happiness and connection lie within us—especially through acts of service and genuine connection with others. Lux Vivens leaves us with much to ponder about the cast-off expectations of society and reconnecting with the authentic self.
